1. Brand new, unused equipment: Direct return or exchange (preferred option)
If the hole precision was substandard at the time of purchase (out of tolerance for hole center distance, incorrect hole diameter tolerance, or machining defects), and hole precision is a fundamental core precision requirement of the welding table, it is almost impossible to meet the requirements through simple post-purchase repairs. Contact the supplier directly to negotiate a return or exchange, requesting a brand new product that meets the precision standards.
2. Deformation during use leading to decreased precision: Repair according to severity
If deformation caused by prolonged use without aging treatment or overloading leads to substandard hole precision, the following can be addressed:
Minor deformation, error less than 0.15mm: Send the entire welding table back to the factory for CNC machining to enlarge and correct the hole diameter, then perform aging and stress relief treatment again, and adjust the hole center distance precision. After repair, it can meet the acceptable standard again.
Severe deformation, error exceeding 0.2mm, or inferior material: In this case, the repair cost is close to replacing the entire tabletop. Replacing it with a brand new, qualified tabletop is more cost-effective.
3. For automated welding equipment, non-compliance in hole machining during production can be compensated for through technical solutions.
If the welding equipment is an intelligent robot with a 3D vision system, and the hole positioning accuracy is found to be substandard, the accuracy can be compensated for through technical optimization: Introducing an adaptive control system with high-precision 3D vision recognition and real-time path planning capabilities allows for recalibration of the hole positions using digital model analysis. This automatically identifies and compensates for hole position deviations, adjusts the welding path, and can offset the impact of small-scale hole accuracy defects, improving welding consistency.
4. Recommendations for preventing non-compliance in hole accuracy: When purchasing, prioritize requesting the supplier to provide a factory coordinate measuring machine (CMM) inspection report to confirm that the hole center distance and diameter tolerances meet requirements before signing for delivery. Avoid prolonged overload during long-term use, and regularly check the accuracy. Promptly adjust any minor deformations to prevent irreparable accuracy defects.
