Some points that are prone to problems in the use of plasma cutting machine

1. For perforation cutting, use a plasma cutting machine to cut as much as possible from the edge. This is to protect the vulnerable parts such as the cutting nozzle. It helps to use them for a longer time. When using them, first align the edge of the workpiece and then turn on the tool.


2. Frequent arcing. When cutting materials, the cutting situation is not planned in advance. Frequent adjustment of cutting parameters will result in frequent arcing, which will accelerate the loss of nozzles and motors.


3. The nozzle is overloaded, and the increase of the nozzle current can improve the cutting efficiency, but the excessive current will damage the body. The current intensity of the nozzle should not be hit to the full load state, just 95% of the working current.


4. If the cutting distance is too small or too large, the cutting distance and cutting efficiency of the plasma cutting machine are negatively correlated. The smaller the distance, the higher the efficiency. But a cutting torch that is too small will wear the cutting nozzle, so this distance needs to be controlled reasonably. It should be noted that when piercing, the cutting distance used should be as large as possible.


5. The perforation thickness is too large, and the distance that the cutting machine can perforate is specified, generally half of the cutting thickness.
