How to determine the levelness of a 3D welding workbench?

I. Tool Preparation

Level: Selectable or electronic level, accuracy at least 0.02mm/1000mm

Cleaning Cloth: Wipe the workbench surface and the level's measuring surface clean.

Rust-Preventive Oil: Apply rust-preventive oil after adjustment.

II. Operating Procedures

Cleaning and Inspection: First, clean the workbench surface and the level's measuring surface to avoid dirt affecting accuracy.

Placing the Level: Place the level on the workbench, centering the bubble.

Reading Adjustment: Record the bubble position. If it deviates, adjust the platform's support legs until the bubble is centered.

III. Accuracy Calculation

Actual Tilting Value = Nominal Graduation Value × Measured Length × Deviation Number of Graduations

Example: Nominal graduation value 0.02mm/m, length 200mm, deviation 2 graduations → Actual tilt value: 0.008mm

IV. Precautions

Handle with care: Avoid scratching the measuring surface of the level.

Avoid friction: Lift the level when moving it; do not drag it.

Regular maintenance: Check every 3 months; readjust if accuracy decreases.
