Products Usage

How to Use ?– Step by Step

Step 1: Insert the Clamp
Place the D28 shank into any 28mm hole on your welding table. Push down until fully seated.

Step 2: Position Your Workpiece
Place the metal part under the clamp arm or against the integrated stop (depending on clamp style).

Step 3: Engage the Toggle
Pull the lever down and forward (or push, depending on model) until the mechanism locks into the closed position. You will feel a distinct "over-center" click.

Step 4: Check the Hold
Gently tap the workpiece. It should not move. If too loose or too tight, adjust the center screw on the clamp arm.

Step 5: Release Instantly
Lift the lever back up. The clamp fully opens, giving you clear access to remove or reposition the part.

Q1: Is this better than a screw clamp?

A: It depends on the job. A toggle clamp is much faster for repetitive tasks and quick changes. A screw clamp provides more gradual, higher force for heavy or uneven parts. Many workshops use both.

02.Will it fit my 28mm welding table?

A: Yes – this clamp is specifically designed for D28 (28mm hole) modular welding tables. It will not fit 16mm or 22mm systems.

03.Can the clamping force be adjusted?

A: Yes. There is a threaded adjustment screw on the clamp arm. Turn it in or out to increase or decrease the holding pressure.

04.Will welding spatter damage it?

A: The clamp has a spatter-resistant coating. However, we still recommend using anti-spatter spray and cleaning the mechanism occasionally for smooth operation.

05.How do I remove the clamp from the table?

A: Simply lift it straight up. The D28 shank is a slip-fit – no tools required.
