Typical Workflow
1. Smoke and dust generation: Welding/cutting arcs produce high-temperature fumes containing metal oxides, gases, and dust.
2. Source capture: Using a suction arm or hood located near the welding torch, the negative pressure generated by a fan effectively draws the rising and spreading smoke and dust into the duct system.
3. Primary separation: The dusty air first passes through a spark arrester or pre-filter to intercept sparks and larger particles that may cause fires.
4. High-efficiency filtration: The air enters the main filtration unit, where fine harmful particles are trapped on the surface of the filter cartridge, and clean air passes through the filter material.
5. Emission/recycling:
◦ Standalone type: Clean air is directly discharged back into the room (energy-saving) or exhausted outdoors through pipes.
◦ Central system: Clean air is centrally discharged or reused through the duct system.
6. Filter material maintenance: When the dust accumulation on the surface of the filter cartridge increases, causing the system resistance (pressure difference) to rise, the automatic pulse cleaning system starts, and compressed air instantly blows back the filter cartridge, making the dust fall into the dust collection bucket. The filter cartridge is replaced when its service life ends.
