When air or oxygen is selected as the plasma gas, oxides will be deposited in the nozzle, which will affect the cutting gas flow and reduce the service life of vulnerable parts. Wipe the inside of the nozzle with clean flannel to remove oxides.
2, cutting torch and wearing parts
Any damage to the cutting torch and consumables will seriously affect the function of the plasma system. When replacing consumables, place them on a clean flannel, always check the connection thread of the torch, and clean the electrode contact surface and nozzle with hydrogen peroxide.
3, cover protective layer
The slag on the protective cover of the welding torch cut by the CNC cutting machine should be removed frequently. Otherwise, slag will cause a destructive "heavy plasma arc". In addition, it is best to apply a splash-proof chemical coating on the protective cover, which will help reduce the accumulation of slag on the protective cover. However, before painting, the protective cover must be removed from the cutting machine.
