1. Flatness detection
Use a level: Place the level at different positions on the surface of the platform, read the value of the level, and evaluate the flatness by comparing the values of multiple positions.
Laser interferometer: It can provide more accurate flatness measurement, but the equipment cost is higher.
2. Verticality detection
Square and feeler gauge: Use a square against the vertical surface of the platform, and use the feeler gauge to measure the gap between the square and the platform surface to determine the verticality.
Coordinate measuring machine: It can accurately measure the verticality relationship between the various surfaces of the platform.
3. Parallelism detection
Gauge block and micrometer: Place the gauge block on the platform, use the micrometer to measure the height difference between the gauge block and the platform surface, and move the gauge block to measure at different positions to evaluate the parallelism.
4. Position accuracy detection
Standard measuring tools or special gauges can be used to detect the size and position accuracy of specific positions on the platform.
5. Repeat positioning accuracy detection
The repeat positioning accuracy is evaluated by repeatedly positioning the same workpiece or standard part on the platform and measuring the deviation of each positioning.
During testing, measurements should be taken in different areas and directions of the platform to fully understand the accuracy of the platform.
