1. Preparation before operation
1. Familiarize yourself with the equipment:
Before operating the welding positioner, be sure to read the equipment's instruction manual carefully and familiarize yourself with the equipment's structure, performance and operation methods.
Understand the functions of the equipment's control panel, buttons and switches.
2. Check the equipment:
Check whether the mechanical parts of the equipment are intact, including gears, ball screws, guide rails, etc.
Check whether the electrical system and gas system are normal, and ensure that the cables are not aged or cracked, and there is no leakage in the gas circuit.
Check whether the grounding wire is firmly connected and whether the grounding resistance meets the requirements.
3. Clean the work area:
Ensure that the work area around the equipment is clean, tidy, and free of debris and obstacles.
Clean the welding slag, dust and other impurities on the surface and inside of the equipment.
2. Skills during operation
1. Workpiece clamping:
When clamping the workpiece, it must be positioned as required to ensure that the nuts, bolts, and top screws of the fixture are tightened and the pressure plate is pressed firmly.
Avoid loosening or displacement of the workpiece during welding, which will affect the welding quality.
2. Adjust the welding position:
Use the rotation and flipping function of the welding positioner to adjust the workpiece to the best welding position.
Ensure that the welding position is easy to operate and avoid damage to the equipment caused by welding spatter.
3. Control the welding speed:
According to the welding process requirements, reasonably control the welding speed.
Avoid welding speed that is too fast or too slow, which affects the welding quality and the service life of the equipment.
4. Observe the welding process:
During the welding process, closely observe the welding quality and the operating status of the equipment.
Discover and deal with welding defects and equipment failures in a timely manner.
5. Safe operation:
Operators must wear appropriate protective equipment, such as welding gloves, goggles, etc.
Comply with safety operating procedures and avoid maintenance and adjustments while the equipment is running.
III. Post-operation inspection
1. Turn off the equipment:
After welding is completed, adjust the equipment to the initial position and turn off the power.
Cut off the gas and water sources to ensure that the equipment is in a safe state.
2. Clean the equipment:
Clean impurities such as welding slag and dust on the surface and inside of the equipment.
Check the mechanical parts and electrical systems of the equipment to ensure that the equipment is in good condition.
3. Record the operation status:
Record the equipment operation status and welding quality during the welding process.
Record the maintenance and care of the equipment to facilitate subsequent equipment management.
