2D Nitrided Cast Iron Welding Table | 1000×1000mm Precision Fabrication Workstation
🎯 Best for: Robotic welding stations, precision manual welding, mold repair, vocational training, and structural steel fabrication.

Product Overview
This 1000×1000mm 2D welding table is precision-cast from high-grade gray cast iron (e.g., HT250 or equivalent) and features a full-surface nitrided hardening treatment. The top is machined with a standard 2D grid hole pattern (typically Ø28mm holes on 100×100mm centers), fully compatible with modular tooling: rapid clamps, locating pins, stops, angle brackets, and more.
Cast iron delivers superior vibration damping and thermal stability - making this table the #1 choice for precision welding, robotic cells, and heavy-duty manual fabrication.

Product advantages

🔹 Cast Iron Construction
Excellent vibration absorption → cleaner welds. High rigidity and long-term dimensional stability.

🔹 Nitrided Surface (≥600 HV)
Extremely hard, wear-resistant, and rust-resistant. Welding spatter does NOT stick easily.

🔹 2D Precision Grid (Ø28 / 100×100mm)
Quick positioning & clamping. Reduce fixture setup time by up to 50–70%.

🔹 1000×1000mm Work Area
Large enough for real workpieces, yet compact for workshops and robotic cells.
Who Uses It?
We have exported to many countries such as Germany\USA\AU and so on,
Our customers are mainly various metal processing factories, energy and chemical enterprises, as well as some distributors.

Applications
→Robotic welding workcells (automotive, general fabrication)
→Precision manual welding (stainless steel, aluminum, thin-wall parts)
→Mold & die repair shops (requires thermal stability)
→Structural steel fabrication (brackets, frames, supports)
→Vocational welding schools & training centers
→Prototyping and low-volume flexible production
📌 Real customer feedback (US fabricator) :
"We replaced our old steel table with this cast iron nitrided table. The difference is night and day - less spatter cleanup, better arc stability, and the surface still looks new after 18 months."
- Shop Owner, Midwest USA

How to Use?
1.Clean the table top
Remove slag, spatter, and oil. A clean surface = accurate positioning.
2.Position tooling
Insert locating pins, stops, or angle brackets into the 2D grid holes according to your workpiece drawing.
3.Clamp the workpiece
Use rapid toggle clamps, screw clamps, or pneumatic clamps. Ensure the part is secure but not over-stressed.
4.Start welding
Weld directly on the table. After finishing, loosen clamps and remove tooling quickly for the next job.
♻️ Pro tip: Keep a "starter kit" of 20–30 common clamps and pins near the table. Changeover time can drop to under 3 minutes.

FAQ
tIPS FOR REFERENCE
Answering the following questions can roughly help you understand our products.
Q:1.Why cast iron instead of steel?
A: Cast iron has natural vibration damping - it absorbs welding vibrations, which results in smoother arc starts and less operator fatigue. It also resists thermal distortion better than many steel tables. Steel is stronger in tension, but for welding precision, cast iron is often superior.
Q:2.Will the nitrided layer peel off?
A: No. Nitriding is a chemical diffusion process - it hardens the surface at the molecular level, not a coating. It will never peel, flake, or bubble. It can only be removed by deep grinding or machining.
Q:3.Does spatter stick to the nitrided surface?
A:Much less than on raw steel or painted surfaces. Small spatter beads can usually be wiped off with a scraper. For heavy spatter, a light pass with a carbide scraper restores the surface easily.
Q:4.What is the standard hole pattern?
A: Ø28mm holes on 100×100mm centers. This is the industry standard and is compatible with Demmeler-style, Siegmund-style, and most other modular welding table clamps and accessories. Custom hole patterns are available on request.
Q:5.Does it require special maintenance?
A: Very simple:
After each shift, wipe off spatter and dirt.
Light oil or anti-rust spray is optional (but nitriding already resists rust well).
Every 6–12 months, check flatness with a straight edge. Cast iron tables rarely go out of flat.
Q:6.Can I mount it on a mobile stand or floor?
A:We recommend using adjustable feet or a heavy-duty welding stand to level the table. This ensures you fully benefit from the high flatness (≤0.1mm/m²). A level table = accurate work.
