Nitrided Surface Treatment
The table features a high-quality nitrided surface that achieves an exceptional hardness of HV 800–1200, which is significantly harder than ordinary carbon steel (HV 200–400). This nitrided layer provides three major benefits: first, it makes the table highly resistant to scratches, dents, and daily wear; second, it prevents weld spatter from adhering to the surface, allowing you to simply scrape it off with a plastic or brass scraper; third, it offers excellent corrosion resistance, eliminating the need for frequent oiling or painting. As a result, the table lasts 5–8 years under heavy use, compared to only 2–3 years for untreated steel tables.

Q:1.Can I use D16 accessories on a D28 table, or vice versa?
A:No. D28 and D16 are two completely separate, non-interchangeable systems. D28 accessories have 28mm shanks designed for 100mm grid holes; D16 accessories have 16mm shanks for 50mm grid holes. Please select the system that matches your existing accessories or application needs.
Q:2.Can I grind the table surface with an angle grinder?
A: Absolutely not. Using an angle grinder on the surface will destroy the nitrided hardening layer, causing that area to rust quickly and lose its wear resistance. Always use a plastic or brass scraper to remove weld spatter.
Q:3.Does the table come with legs?
A: Legs and stands are typically sold separately to allow customization. Options include fixed legs (permanent installation), swivel casters with brakes (mobile), hydraulic lift legs (height-adjustable), or a heavy-duty steel frame.
Q:4.How do I maintain the nitrided surface?
A: Maintenance is minimal. After each use, clean off debris with compressed air and scrape away any weld spatter with a plastic or brass scraper. For long-term storage, wipe with a light coat of machine oil-though the nitrided surface already provides excellent corrosion resistance.
Q:5.Can I join multiple tables together?
A: Yes. Multiple tables of the same system (D28 with D28, or D16 with D16) can be joined using alignment pins and locking bolts to create a larger continuous working surface.
Q:6.What is the lead time?
A:Standard 25mm thickness usually 5-10 days. Custom thickness or special hole patterns require 15-20 days.
