28mm Modular Fabrication Welding Table

Place the table on a level concrete floor and adjust the leveling feet (if equipped) to eliminate any rocking. Secure your workpiece using 28mm modular clamps, stop pins, and adapter sets-simply insert accessories into the grid holes and tighten with hex keys or hand knobs. For square frames, align the workpiece with the precision-ground edges or use square stops locked into the grid. Weld directly on the surface; spatter will not stick. For full-penetration welds, use copper backup plates under critical joints.

Daily: Brush off slag and debris, then wipe the surface with a clean cloth. Weekly: Although nitrided steel is naturally low-stick, you may optionally apply a spatter release spray. Keep all 28mm holes clean by blowing them out with compressed air or using a magnetic pickup tool. If holes become clogged, gently ream them with a 28mm hand reamer-never under power.

Monthly: Inspect the surface for any raised spatter (rare with nitrided steel). If found, gently scrape it off using a brass scraper-never use a steel chisel, as this will damage the nitrided layer. Long-term: In high-humidity environments, apply a light coat of anti-rust oil, though the nitriding process provides excellent rust resistance on its own. ⚠️ Never grind directly on the table surface, and never direct an oxy-fuel torch at the plate for extended periods.
