A:A 3D welding table features precision holes on the top surface and all four side faces. This allows you to clamp workpieces vertically, horizontally, or at angles directly to the sides of the table, not just the top. This five-side access enables true three-dimensional fixturing for complex parts like frames, roll cages, and structural assemblies.
Q:2.What is the difference between D16 and D28 systems?
A: D16 and D28 are two separate, non-interchangeable systems. D16 uses Φ16mm holes on a 50mm grid - ideal for general fabrication and precision work. D28 uses Φ28mm holes on a 100mm grid - designed for heavy-duty applications. You choose one system when ordering. They cannot be mixed on the same table.
Q:3.Can I weld directly on the table surface?
A: Yes, you can weld on the table, but always weld on the workpiece itself, not directly on the table surface. Striking an arc directly on the table will damage the nitrided layer. The table is a fixturing platform - it holds your workpiece while you weld the workpiece. Use a magnetic ground clamp on the table edge for grounding.
Q:4.Is the 1000×1500mm size large enough for my projects?
A: 1000×1500mm (1.5 square meters) is the most popular size for general fabrication. It comfortably accommodates gates, railings, frames, machinery components, and automotive parts. For larger workpieces, multiple tables of the same system can be joined using alignment pins. For smaller workshops, this size offers a good balance between working area and footprint.
