Typical Workflow
1. Process and Fixture Design:
◦ Analyze product drawings to determine the assembly sequence, welding sequence, and key control tolerances.
◦ Design the overall structure of the fixture, positioning scheme, clamping points, and anti-deformation amount.
◦ Complete detailed engineering drawings and manufacturing.
2. Fixture Installation and Calibration:
◦ Install the fixture body at Welding Fixture Table in the workshop.
◦ Use high-precision instruments such as total stations and laser trackers to perform final calibration and adjustment of all positioning datums.
3. Workpiece Assembly:
◦ Use a crane to hoist main components (such as main beams, end plates) and lean them against the positioning datums.
◦ Install secondary components (stiffeners, connecting plates).
◦ Activate hydraulic or manual clamping mechanisms to firmly fix all parts, and pre-deformation may be applied.
4. Welding and Monitoring:
