A versatile and effective welding tool, the welding positioner primarily facilitates circular seam welding.

An automatic welding system can be created by combining the welding positioner with other auxiliary equipment, such as welding manipulators, robots, etc. to create welding power such as argon arc welding power (wired or not filled), molten gas shielded welding power (C02/MAG/MIG welding machine), plasma welding power, flame or plasma cutting.

1. Check the flip drive
(1) The tilting drive should be stable, without shaking under the load, and the whole machine must not overturn. If the load exceeds 25kg, it should have the power drive function.
(2) There should be a limit device to control the tilt angle and an angle indicator mark.
(3) The tilting mechanism should have a self-locking function and not slide under load.
2. Check the rotary drive motor
(1) The rotary drive motor should realize stepless speed regulation and brake.
(2) Within the range of rotation speed, the fluctuation of the rotation speed under load shall not exceed 5%.
3. Other aspects
(1) The welding positioner should be equipped with a conductive device to prevent the welding current from passing through the transmission parts such as bearings and gears. The resistance of the conductive device should not exceed 1mΩ, and its capacity should meet the requirements of the rated welding current.
(2) The control part of the welding positioner shall be equipped with a linkage interface for automatic welding.
(3) The structure of the workbench should be convenient for clamping workpieces or installing fixtures, and its structural form can also be determined through consultation with the user.
(4) The accurate data of load, eccentricity and heavy spacing should be clearly stated in the instruction manual of the welding positioner.
