Introduction

Horizontal Turntable is a precision positioning device with the horizontal axis as the rotation center, which is mainly used to hold the workpiece and realize multi-angle rotation around the horizontal axis. It is widely used in machining, automated production lines, testing equipment and laser processing and other fields. It realizes multi-faceted machining, precision indexing or automatic assembly of the workpiece through the rotation function, which significantly improves the processing efficiency and process consistency.

Working principle

After the workpiece is fixed on the turntable table surface, the target rotation angle (such as indexing 90 °, continuous rotation, etc.) is input through the control system. The drive system drives the rotation table to move according to the command, and the encoder monitors the position in real time and corrects the error in a closed loop. During the machining process, the turntable works in coordination with the machine tool spindle or external equipment (such as a robotic arm) to realize multi-axis linkage machining (such as four-axis and five-axis machining).

Selection precautions

Load capacity: Select the rated load of the turntable (e.g. 50kg to 5000kg) according to the weight of the workpiece and the processing force.

Precision level: High-precision machining requires angular second-level accuracy, and ordinary machining can be selected for angle grading.

Interface compatibility: Ensure that turntable communication protocols (e.g. EtherCAT, Profinet) are compatible with existing devices.

Protection class: If used in humid or dusty environments, IP54 and above should be selected.
